ITR Software Announces New Size Optimization Software and Service

Voorhees, NJ – June 1, 2009 – ITR Software Inc is proud to announce the addition of a new Size Optimization software application and service for the retail industry.  

“The introduction of this significant capability complements the overall functionality of our best of breed software,” said Joe Apprendi, President of ITR Software.  Apprendi further states that
“WorkMate Size Optimization (WSO) supports our position that well researched sales trends, sensitive to local size preferences, will yield superior financial performance and lead to greater customer satisfaction.” 

The new capability can be licensed as a standalone application or ITR Software can provide the capabilities of WSO as a hosted service.  The service option is available as a one-time event or it can be provided on a periodic basis.  Additionally, if licensed as part of the company’s Buyer’s WorkMate Suite, WSO is fully integrated to the other components of the suite: SPIN Analytics, Assortment Planning and Purchasing and Allocation.” Highlights of the WSO module include:

• Buyer’s WorkMate Size Optimization:

• Lost Sales Calculation on items that have reached an out-of-stock condition in a size
• The development of Size Contribution curves by location
• Store Modeling using “sister” stores
• The development of optimal “Pre-Packs” in the “Pack Builder” function
• The development of targets by location by size for Assortments and Allocations
• Recommended Allocation of packs by location utilizing ‘layered’ pre-packs
