Implementation

In order to optimize the inherent benefits of the Buyer’s WorkMate product family we have developed a well-defined methodology that we use as the framework for our implementation activities.

Project Management

We strongly believe that success starts with planning! Our consultants work closely with the retailer’s merchandising organization and information technology departments to formulate a customized implementation plan designed to achieve the expected results and benefits. This process also helps to clearly define the roles and responsibilities of the parties involved and concludes with the generation of a detailed list of specific tasks and activities.

Customization

We have developed our solutions to meet the requirements of a wide variety of retailers. Our standard products have been designed to be flexible through the use of user-defined parameters and system options in order to minimize the amount of customization that may be required. However, we also recognize that many customers have unique requirements based on their business needs, and therefore we offer a well-structured methodology for defining and developing modifications to our product.

System Integration

The WorkMate Suite is designed to work with the systems the retailer already has in place. In fact, WorkMate has been designed to enhance an existing system’s usability and effectiveness. Since we have adopted a “best of breed” strategy, we are not restricted to working with any specific enterprise system. Therefore, we have designed our application to easily and seamlessly integrate with all enterprise systems. The integration to existing systems, data conversion and interface development can be performed, managed and coordinated by ITR or your IT department.

Training and Education

One of the most important factors in the implementation of any new product is making sure that the user has a comprehensive understanding of all of the application’s features and functions. For this reason, we believe that training is a vital component of any new system installation.

Although our products are delivered with user documentation and include on-line "help" screen capabilities, we encourage the users to learn the product by attending formal, “hands-on” training classes. For this reason, ITR Software offers a variety of flexible training options based on your requirements and cost considerations. We can conduct on-site training classes. Or, if you prefer, you can send individuals to our New Jersey office for formalized training.
